Interest and Hobby

My Work Ethic and Early Life

Do you have any favorite sayings or a particular attitude toward your work?
“To be someone who laughs from the token of his heart.” Also, since I was a teenager, I’ve believed it’s important to balance what I want to do with what I can do. Looking at pioneers and great figures around me, I notice that those who continue to expand their businesses over the long term always possess these two qualities. Therefore, when I founded J Leopard, I was confident that my strengths lay in international sales, marketing, and language negotiation. Today, I hold these convictions and work hard with reliable colleagues in order to laugh from the bottom of my heart. I also believe that “truly laughing from the heart” is a universal form of happiness that goes beyond appearances or outward form.
What kind of environment did you grow up in during your childhood and youth?
Regarding my early life, I spent ages three to nine in Karachi, Pakistan. At school, I spoke English. I spoke Japanese with my mother and Urdu with my father and local relatives. My parents were active entrepreneurs who operated Japanese restaurants in Karachi, which was rare at the time. I still remember that Japanese executives and business leaders would come every night to enjoy my mother’s Japanese cooking. Surrounded by passionate parents, grandparents, and cousins, I was able to grow up in a positive and supportive environment.
My Business Skills and Experience
Our clients have shown strong interest and appreciation for the following skills. Please note that, due to the nature of our B2B operations, we do not disclose client names or certain specific achievements in order to protect their brands.

International Sales
We conduct sales activities both locally and online in countries including Japan, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Middle East, and Western countries. I have experience proposing and implementing the most effective strategies tailored to each industry and business type.

Digital Advertising
Leveraging unique expertise, I create business opportunities using Meta (formerly Facebook) and Google Ads. While social media is generally associated with B2C, I have achieved a high rate of business negotiations in B2B, leading to sample orders and large-scale deals.

Language and negotiation skills
Ever since I can remember, my father would ask me to negotiate prices with shop owners in the markets of Pakistan, using English and Urdu. This is where my negotiation experience began.
My Contributions and Projects
Before starting my own business, I worked at a B2B consulting company in Gotanda. Domestically, I served as an exclusive advisor to seven venture companies. In the overseas business division, I focused on B2B matching between overseas and major Japanese companies through the embassies of Pakistan and Vietnam, as well as Chinese venture capital firms. I also launched consulting projects with an annual value of 19.4 million yen as a project manager.
After leaving the company, I founded Made in Japan Products B2B (abbr. MJPB2B) and J Leopard (abbr. JPL). Due to partnerships with several manufacturers in Tokyo, I will refrain from disclosing the profit contribution of MJPB2B. However, J Leopard achieved approximately 8 million yen in annual sales in its first year. We have been receiving many inquiries from both domestic and international clients, and we will continue to contribute to Japan and the world.

Background and Personal History
Childhood and Early Years
From ages three to nine, life unfolded in Karachi, Pakistan, a unique place where his parents opened a Japanese restaurant. This early experience offered a close-up view of an active business life. During these years, English, Japanese, and Urdu were regularly used at school and at home. At age nine, in the third grade, a move back to Japan meant learning hiragana and kanji from the very beginning.
University Years
University studies took place at Dokkyo University's Transnational and Tourism department. The main subjects were Southeast Asian economic growth and how Japanese companies expand overseas. While studying, he also started the Business English Club (BEC) and a student group called "Verte", gaining a lot of experience getting sponsorship deals. In the second year, an overseas internship provided a look into the business of India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
First Career
After university, the focus was on B2B matching, bringing together leaders from big companies and promising new venture companies. This involved listening to the needs of executives from many different industries, like manufacturing, tech, finance, and retail, and connecting them with venture leaders. Later, in the overseas business team, the role was to link big Japanese companies with international ones.
Present
After leaving that company, attention turned to small and medium-sized Japanese manufacturers with great potential. This led to creating MJPB2B, a company that sells traditional Japanese items like sweets, tea, and crafts to overseas businesses. Starting with three people, the company grew, and its success led to the founding of J Leopard, a company specialized in fully supporting businesses looking to expand globally.
Megumi Itami
The Most Important Person
My mother was an ordinary former postal worker. Later, she moved to Karachi, Pakistan with my father and started a Japanese restaurant called "Tsuruko House." She served authentic Japanese cuisine to the management and overseas sales departments of Japanese companies based in Pakistan. During the expansion of her business, she became the third person in Pakistan to receive government approval to import raw foods. Afterwards, she expanded the import business through B2B transactions with local hotels. Her approach to my upbringing was very free-spirited, telling me that as long as I did not steal, kill, or deceive, I could do whatever I wanted. Since I was a child, her favorite sayings were, "There is a reason for everything," and "If you want something, you should persuade others to get it."

My aim with
J Leopard
"Collaborate with Japanese corporations and manufacturers to expand their unique brands and services into international markets. As a strategist, I aim to prove the power of Made in Japan across Asia and the world."
